Linda Frazier has been a Registered Nurse over 35 years. In 2010, she became an Independent Certified Health Coach.  She specializes in helping others  create their own good health by empowering them with scientific and sound information.  Linda’s offers healthy cooking classes and free coaching to individuals who wish to continually improve and maintain their health goals. Helping people who suffer from obesity, diabetes, metabolic syndrome, and other weight-related diseases is her daily focus.

A word from the Nurse

I am Linda Frazier, wife and mother of six who lives on a ranch in Hutchinson, Kansas. I pride myself in being a knowledgeable, honest, caring nurse and health coach. I realize individuals need resources they can trust and trust is a quality that is earned over time. For some of you, we have already developed a trusting relationship. I have helped you in the past or currently I am your personal Health Coach.  Creating better health long-term is an ongoing journey. I can truthfully say it is not always easy, but I’ve found the most important things in life take a little effort. Like so many, my family and job left little time for myself. I suffered for years with what I called, “Not Enough Hours in the Day Syndrome.” Sound familiar? I wanted to be healthy so I could keep up with my busy life. Sifting through the mountains of information on weight loss, health and nutrition was overwhelming. I had spent almost 25 years watching my weight, dieting, and exercising but I failed at maintaining a healthy weight and lifestyle. I wasn’t totally sick but I sure wasn’t healthy.

In 2010, while working at a women’s health fair, I ran into an old friend and physician. This doctor had implemented a new weight loss-health program in his practice. It was exactly what I was looking for; a scientifically proven, safe, long-term plan that was easy to implement. This program allowed me to easily lose 22 pounds in eight weeks. Because of my weight loss and new healthy habits, my entire life was turning around. But, like so many others, with time after losing the 22 pounds,  I struggled with maintaining my goal weight, energy level and affects of aging.  Eating, cooking and “life after a structure program” was not exactly easy. Meal replacements are great but  sometimes I love to cook, experiment and entertain.  I knew I needed to learn more about healthy cooking. 

Out of sheer frustration, I then decided to do more research, study and experimentation of what it takes to maintain a healthy weight. As a nurse, I am always focused on sound, scientific information. My year long journey of research on healthy cooking, continued to lead me to natural and whole foods. The things I learned were overwhelming.  The reward for continuing this journey has been phenomenal! I am maintaining my goal weight, blood tests are normal, and my energy level continues to stay high. I am proud to say I am over 60 years old and have the energy of my 40 year old friends. I have so many exciting adventures planned before I reach my 101st birthday. The best part of the story is I now truly feel empowered and confident to help others do exactly what I have done. I now have a better complete plan to help others lose weight and cook healthy with natural or whole foods.

Creating health is a lifetime journey. I plan on making it to 101 years old.
