Kale Basic Pesto

Serve with hot bread sticks, on top of pizza, or gluten free, grain free pasta.
You can freeze extra pesto in ice cube trays. After frozen, pop out and store in plastic bags.

Ingredients:
1/2 cup olive oil
1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
2 small cloves of garlic
1 cup basil leaves
1 cup kale leaves
2 Tablespoons Pine Nuts (toasting a few minutes in a dry skillet increase flavor)
1/8 tsp. salt
pinch of black pepper

Directions:
Place all ingredients into food processor, Vita-mix or blender.
Blend for 30 seconds or until desired consistency is reached.
